Product Description
A D shackle is a fitting with a U-shaped body and a screw pin. It is used to connect rope eyes, chains, turnbuckles and anchor points. Thanks to its AISI 316 stainless construction, it keeps its shine for many years on boat rigging, piers, pools and outdoor applications.
It is ideal for in-line pulling applications without side loads. Make sure the pin is fully tightened; in vibrating environments it is recommended to secure the pin with wire. Bow shackles are more suitable for connections loaded from more than one direction.
