Ring Eye Bolt

Product Description

A ring eye bolt is a bolt fitted with a freely rotating ring, creating a solid anchoring point for rope, chain or straps. The picture shows on the left the model with metric thread and nut (for steel structures and drilled surfaces) and on the right the wood-screw model (for timber beams and planks).

Hammock and swing hangers, punching bags, ceiling suspension systems, stable and animal tie points, and awning and canopy fixing are its most common uses. For dynamic loads a suitable anchor or lock nut must be used; for lifting work, DIN 580 certified eye bolts should be preferred.
